Closet Look #26: The Lair

A faint glow from her lair, penetrated the dark of night through the windows, ever so faintly. The smell of rotten flesh and roses tainted the air, as the wind brushes past her skin exiting the open door of the building. She walks out and stands outside the entrance, listening, waiting for a sound that she could appear down to with a quickness, picking up her victim before they could ever muffle out a scream. A snap of a twig, a faint whimper of a lost fool, maybe a giddy laugh of lovers, exploring the unknown forest, just at the edge of her territory to be alone away from the village. No matter. There would be dinner tonight, even if she had to use her enchanted call to lure one poor foolish soul out. she would be devouring on someone's bones before the howl of the midnight blood wolf.
